A grand opening happens once. There is no second take of the first group through the door, so the plan has to be made before anyone arrives: what the day has to prove, who has to be on camera, and which two minutes will still be used a year from now.
This one was shot for Rushing Ranges, the builder, at the top-of-the-line facility they opened in collaboration with Staccato. The film covers the range itself and the day around it.
Event coverage like this earns its keep twice — once as the record of the opening, and again as the thing the builder sends to the next client who asks what they can actually do.
