Anyone can buy a drone. The part that decides whether your shoot happens is the airspace above the address, and in Collin County that is not an afterthought — a large part of McKinney sits under the controlled airspace around McKinney National Airport.
TKI is a participating LAANC facility, so authorisation to operate at or below 400 feet in that airspace can be requested and granted electronically. We check that before you book. A pilot who does not will either cancel on you or fly somewhere they should not be.
We are FAA Part 107 certified and licensed for commercial drone operations across North Texas, and we fly whenever conditions and airspace regulations allow.

01 Are you licensed to fly commercially?
Yes. We are FAA Part 107 certified, which is the certification required to fly a drone for any commercial purpose — including a listing photo or a company video.
02 Can you fly near McKinney National Airport?
Much of McKinney sits under controlled airspace around McKinney National (TKI), which is a participating LAANC facility. That means authorisation for flights at or below 400 feet can be requested and granted through LAANC rather than waiting on a manual application. We check the airspace for your address before the shoot, not on the day.
03 What can stop a flight?
Weather, wind, and airspace. We fly whenever conditions and airspace regulations allow, and if a site needs an authorisation that is not automatic we will tell you before you book rather than turn up and fail.
04 What do we actually get?
Aerial video cut into your film, and high-resolution aerial stills. For land and acreage that usually means orientation shots showing the boundaries and the approach; for a community, flyovers and elevation changes; for a job site, the same angle every month.
05 Do you shoot construction progress?
Yes. Repeating the same altitude and heading each visit gives a progression sequence that is genuinely useful to an owner or a lender, rather than a folder of unrelated aerials.
06 Is drone included with a listing shoot?
It is an add-on to the real estate service, and on acreage or a property with a view it is usually the shot that sells the listing.
