O'Brien Custom Homes — testimonial
Randy O'Brien on two lots sold after the videos went up
Randy O’Brien on the marketing he did not want to pay for, the two lots he sold after posting it, and the house he built on them.
Randy O’Brien builds custom homes. Like most builders we meet, he had a lot to show and no way to show it, and he says plainly that he resisted spending money on marketing at all.
We made a couple of pieces with him. He posted them. Two lots in the Highland Meadow subdivision sold at $85,000 apiece, and he built a house on them afterwards — the kind of back-end revenue that never shows up in a view count.
The part of his testimonial we keep coming back to is not the sales figure. It is the reason he gives for the crew being worth having on site: they learn who you are and what you are trying to do before anyone unpacks a camera.
“Right after we got those videos together and posted those videos, I sold two of my lots out here in Highland Meadow subdivision for 85 grand a piece. And also I built a house on them, too.”

After Media Depot and I got together, we made a couple of videos, and right after we got those videos together and posted those videos, I sold two of my lots out here in Highland Meadow subdivision for 85 grand a piece. And also I built a house on them, too. So that helped me make some money on the back end, also.
I fought marketing because I didn’t want to spend the money, but it has been a great help to getting my presence out there.
I would highly recommend Media Depot. They’re very professional. They do their due diligence before they come on the site. They learn who you are, what you’re trying to do, what your goals are, and they try to help you make those things happen.
