A 55-second commercial for a Savoy, Texas hardwood company that is also a shop floor other makers can rent time on.
Baker Hardwoods sells slabs and lumber, and it is also a place where other woodworkers can come and build. Two businesses, one address, and a sales pitch that was doing neither of them justice.
We designed and directed the ad around what a customer gets: the raw material, the equipment, and someone who stays involved from the first conversation to the finished piece. Chainsaws, kilns, and the people who run them, cut to a minute.
It is the shortest kind of commercial to brief and the hardest to make interesting — no presenter, no script on camera, nothing to hide behind. The work has to carry it.
